Steele Creek Church of Charlotte is an internationally diverse congregation. We are one body of many members and many cultures. We aim to celebrate Christ together while providing opportunities for support, encouragement, and ministry within specific international communities. Our pastoral staff reflects a passion for engaging the diversity of the Church.
Our Bridges services are designed so that each culture can worship in their native tongue and culture. The bridge is a path from the church to the world and a bridge from corporate church to the cultural communities of Charlotte. We celebrate cultural diversity in the corporate service and encourage people to freely move into each service to experience specific cultures here at Steele Creek Church.
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23
The Latino community at Steele Creek is sizable. To help remove the barrier of language, we provide live Spanish translation at our Sunday service. We also hold a Latino service, conducted in Spanish, each Sunday. Latino Connection Pastor Joel Da Silva oversees ministries relating to the particular spiritual, family, and educational needs of the Latino community. Pastor Joel can be reached at 704.525.1133 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
