Register here for Spring Midweek Classes
Our Midweek Classes will start Wednesday February 6. We have Living On Target discipleship classes for men and women, a great new marriage class entitled “You and Me Forever” (on Sundays), Financial Peace, which presents a biblical perspective on our personal finances, and a Bible study focused on the Gospel of Mark. If you haven’t been through our Living On Target discipleship classes, please make this a priority before taking the other classes. This experience is designed to introduce you to our shepherding process and equip you to help our church fulfill its mission and vision.
Living on target LIFESTYLE
Our mission is “To Be and Make Disciples”. We accomplish this by making it our aim to live in love and service to Christ, our homes, the church, and the world. Starting on Wednesday night Feb. 6, you are invited to not only learn, but experience our discipleship process firsthand. God is doing incredible things at our church, and if you are interested in truly joining us in our mission and vision, then register now!
This class is an essential first step for everyone wanting to connect to our mission, so if you haven’t been through it yet, make this midweek experience your first priority! Men will meet in the sanctuary with pastor Kelvin, and the women will meet in the large tent with Amy and Tracey.
This seven session Bible study series, based on the book You and Me Forever from best-selling author Francis Chan and Lisa Chan, will challenge you to view your marriage like never before. It's until death do us part. Then comes eternal rewards or regrets depending on how we spent our lives. While we cannot allow lesser things to destroy our marriages, we also cannot allow marriage to distract us from greater things. Love, laughter, and intimacy were all created to be enjoyed.
It all comes down to our focus. Jesus was right. We have it all backwards. The way to have a great marriage is by not focusing on marriage.
Couples can either share one book or buy one per person. Childcare is provided but you must register by this Sunday, Feb. 3. Please note, this class meets on Sundays at 11:30am.
Spoiler alert: The Joneses are broke. That means keeping up with them will only get you into MORE debt! It’s time to run fast and hard in the other direction, and Financial Peace University will show you how. Planning for the future is hard when you’re still paying for the past! No more money fights! With Financial Peace University, you and your spouse will learn how to create (and stick to) a budget, save for emergencies, and make a plan for the future
There’s a better way! Register now for this Financial Peace class, and we’ll learn how to beat debt and make a plan for the future . . . together!
Gospel of MArk
The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’s journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship. In this 11-part series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
