Mission Statement

The SCCC Women’s Ministry aims to cultivate a community of women to be and make disciples through mid-size and large group experiences. Our ultimate goal is to draw women to the Father’s heart by nurturing growth and maturity through opportunities for:

·       Biblical studies
·       Fellowship that invites diversity of gifts and passions
·       Mentoring a Titus 2 environment
·       Outreach to the community

We want to swing wide the gates so that women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds may love and serve Christ and each other in this vibrant community.

“Open for me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord through which the righteous may enter.”  Psalm 118:19-20

Spring Women's Retreat 2017
Lake Junaluska, NC

In May of 2017, women from Steele Creek Church of Charlotte converged at Lake Junaluska, NC for a weekend of connection, bible teaching, and connection. Our hearts are so full as we look back at our weekend together and reflect on how the Lord truly met with us at beautiful Lake Junaluska. It was breathtaking to see women engaged in worship, rejoicing, and ministering to one another. We hope that you not only came away with some transforming "Aha!" moments from intimate time spent with the Lord, but also were able to make connections with new friends while deepening relationships with others.

As we move forward into the Summer and Fall, be sure to regularly view the women's page at www.steelecreek.org/women for upcoming events and Bible studies and we have posted our retreat video there as well. We invite you to join us as we come together on the first Wednesday of every month for our corporate prayer meeting, led by Amy Smith.

Below, you will find videos and highlights from the retreat. In addition, we would appreciate your taking a few moments to complete our follow-up survey. We value your feedback as we will take your comments into consideration when we plan our next retreat. We've started a beautiful tradition that we hope to continue!
