What is project 1040?
Project 1040 is Steele Creek Church’s global commitment to the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is a term used by many churches and missionaries to describe a part of the world where most people haven’t heard about Jesus. It’s called the “10/40 Window” because it’s between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, covering parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Our heart is to send and support missionaries who are sharing the Gospel in places where Jesus is least known.
Each month, we focus our prayers on a different country within the 10/40 Window, lifting up the people, leaders, and those called to serve there.

Country of the Month
This month, we are praying for Saudi Arabia. Thank you for continuing to pray for this nation. Saudi Arabia is a country of over 35 million people, where the vast majority follow Islam and less than 1% identify as evangelical Christians, making it one of the most spiritually restricted places in the 10/40 Window.
Yet we are seeing the Lord move in what many once thought was an impenetrable fortress. The Gospel is being made known, and hearts are opening to Jesus. Many who are being reached are close to the Kingdom, and we are believing for courage as they consider the cost of following Him.

Pray for our friends on the ground there; G and A and M and his family, and also for S and his family.
Pray for them to be encouraged not only in their sowing and watering but that they would see the reaping.
Pray for those they are working with who are close to the Kingdom, that they would have courage.
Pray for them to finally count the cost.
Pray for dreams and a hunger to get a copy of the Bible.
Pray for more to search on the internet about Jesus, the Word, and good Bible teaching.
Pray for a strong community of believers to form that will be a powerful example of John 17 unity.
