Arrival & Check-In Reminder

To help create a smooth and peaceful environment for all of our kids, we ask that families arrive on time each week. Check-in is open from 9:45–10:30 AM, and arriving within that window helps ensure your child has a spot in their classroom and can settle in without disruption once class begins.

Late arrivals can make it difficult for both your child and the classroom flow, so we appreciate your help in honoring this time!

Also—just a little friendly nudge 😉—when each family jumps in to serve once a month, it makes a huge difference in making sure we have enough loving hands to care for all of our kiddos. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Monthly Devotional

Devotional: What God Has Joined

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9

Over time, it can become easy to lose sight of the covenant we are under with the Lord. Life’s routines, stress, and emotions can begin to feel normal, even when they are slowly pulling us away from unity, peace, and truth.

Not every feeling is meant to lead us. If left unchecked, discouragement or distance can quietly grow into actions that create separation in the very things God has joined together, especially our marriages and families.

Jesus’ words in Mark 10:9 remind us that what God has united is worth guarding. And while there is an enemy who seeks to divide and destroy what God has made good, we are not powerless in the face of it.

As children of God, we have been given authority in Him to stand against what does not come from Him, to pray, to intercede, and to bind up what is broken or being attacked in our homes and relationships.

Isaiah 61:1 reminds us that the Lord Himself binds up the brokenhearted and brings freedom where there has been captivity. When we seek Him, He doesn’t stand at a distance, He steps in as our defender and restorer.

So we don’t fight for our families in our own strength, but in dependence on the Lord. Through prayer, humility, and continual reliance on Him, we stay anchored in what He has joined.

Our marriages and families are not accidental, they are gifts from God, designed with purpose. And what He has joined, we are called to protect, nurture, and fight for daily, not in fear, but in faith.

Let us not grow weary in guarding what is good. Instead, let us remain close to the Lord, trusting Him to strengthen, restore, and unify what belongs to Him.

📖 May Bible Verse

How wide 🫲🧍‍♀️🫱 (arms stretched out wide) and long 🫸🫷 (reach arms forward) and high 🙆 (reach arms up) and deep 🧎‍♀️ (crouch low) is the love of Christ. 🫂 (hug yourself)
— Ephesians 3:18 📖 (open hands like a book)

💡What are We Learning?:

Hats Off: Jesus Cares About Everyone

We want every preschooler to know “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ” (Ephesians 3:18 NIV). Let’s pray for our preschoolers, that they will grow to love and admire Jesus more and more as we discover that Jesus cares about everyone. And join us this month as we say, “Hats off to Jesus!”

SCYouth Update

May Youth Update:

Hey Parents,
This month is a special one. Just before the summer really kicks off we are going to take the time to reflect on the past school year & honor our seniors. A time where we celebrate all the wins and capitalize on the loses from this past year. We will close out our BLOOM series this next sunday with student testimonies and a time of Q&A. After that we will jump into a new series called ‘I thought by now’ where we will assess the areas in our lives that we constantly compare and envy the ideals in our lives. Exposing the dangers of the mentality “I thought by now I would be (insert ideal situation/place)”

YTH dates:
May 17th- Senior Banquet (come dressed in your prom attire)
May 31st- Graduation Sunday at Arrowood
