Role Description
Our Babies Team creates a safe, nurturing environment where our littlest ones are cared for, prayed over, and shown the love of Jesus. Through rocking, playing, comforting, and simply being present, you help babies feel safe and loved while giving parents confidence that their little one is in great hands.
Time Commitment
- Serve 1–2 Sundays per month
- 9:40 AM–12:00 PM
- Commit to serving for at least one year

Role Description
Our Waddlers Team creates a safe, encouraging space for little ones who are busy exploring the world around them! Through play, movement, comfort, and lots of encouragement, you’ll help children experience the love of Jesus while giving parents confidence that their little one is known, cared for, and loved.
Time Commitment

Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Role Description
Small Group Leaders guide elementary students through engaging discipleship discussions and hands-on activities that align with the weekly lesson. They create a meaningful, fun environment where kids can build strong relationships and grow in their faith.
Time Commitment
Frequency: Serve 1–2 Sundays per month
Hours: 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Term: Year-round (September – September)
Requirements
Complete a Volunteer Serve Form and background check
Complete required ministry training
Consistently serve and maintain open communication with the Ministry Director regarding scheduling
Have a heart for discipling the rising generation and building strong relationships with students in your group

Role Description
Elementary Floaters work alongside the Elementary Director to help Sunday mornings run smoothly and ensure Small Group Leaders have what they need to disciple kids well. They provide hands-on support wherever needed—from preparing supplies and assisting leaders to welcoming families, stepping into classrooms, and handling the unexpected odds and ends that come with a busy Sunday morning.
Time Commitment
Frequency: Serve 1–2 Sundays per month
Hours: 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Term: Year-round (September – September)
Requirements
- Complete a Volunteer Serve Form and background check
- Complete required ministry training
- Consistently serve and maintain open communication with the Elementary Director regarding scheduling
- Be flexible and willing to jump in wherever help is needed
- Have a heart for serving kids, families, and fellow volunteers
- Be dependable, proactive, and able to adapt when plans change

Disciple-Makers
Role Description
Our Breakout Leaders create a consistent, welcoming space where students are known, encouraged, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Through meaningful conversations, Scripture, prayer, and simply showing up, you’ll help students understand what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life, build biblical foundations, and live on mission.
Time Commitment
- 2 Sundays a month during the 10:15am service, with at least a 12-month commitment.
Requirements
- Pass a background check
- Attend CRK YTH training
- Be approachable, relational, and engaging with students
- Be willing to consistently invest in students and fellow youth leaders beyond weekly gatherings

Role Description
The Student Experience Team helps make CRK YTH a place where students feel seen, known, and like they belong. From welcoming new students to starting conversations and helping students get connected, you’ll help create an environment where relationships can grow and students can take their next step toward Jesus.
Time Commitment
- 2 Sundays a month during the 10:15am service, with at least a 12-month commitment.

The CRK YTH Event Team helps make the big moments happen. From camps and retreats to special events, you’ll jump in wherever needed to create fun, welcoming, and organized environments where students can build relationships, grow in their faith, and make memories together.
Time Commitment
- Serve as needed for CRK YTH events, retreats, and camps
- Flexible commitment based on your availability
- No weekly serving commitment required
Requirements

Special Needs Buddies provide one-on-one support to help children of all abilities participate, connect, and experience the love of Jesus alongside their peers. You’ll offer encouragement, assistance, and consistent care based on each child’s individual needs.
Time Commitment
- Serve 1–2 Sundays per month
- Sunday morning services
- Approximately 2–3 hours each serving day
Requirements

- Be compassionate, patient, and dependable

Welcome Team
The First Face of SCFamily
Role Description
The Welcome Team helps every family feel seen, known, and at home from the moment they arrive. Whether you’re greeting a new family, answering questions, helping with check-in, or connecting someone to the right place, you’ll help create a welcoming experience that makes it easier for families to get connected.
Time Commitment
- Serve 1–2 Sundays per month
- Arrive at 9:30 AM to prepare, pray, and welcome families
- Serve through the 10:30 AM service arrival time
Requirements
- Attend a brief Welcome Team training
- Be friendly, approachable, and comfortable starting conversations
- Be willing to engage with both new and familiar families
- Serve consistently and communicate with the team when unavailable
- Be comfortable using technology
